Katy Blakey is currently an anchor and reporter for KOCO, the ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City. She has covered some of the biggest events and issues affecting Oklahoma and North Texas during her career.

From devastating tornadoes and wildfires across the Midwest to President Obama’s visit to Oklahoma to extensive coverage of crime and government issues, Katy is passionate about sharing people’s stories. For Katy, the most memorable stories are those that show the resilience and generosity of the community.

A native of McKinney, Texas, Katy is a proud graduate of Southern Methodist University. She began her career at KTEN-TV, the NBC affiliate in Denison, TX.
